Spectacled Bear Conservation

Machu Picchu in Peru is one of the most biodiverse regions on our planet, home to a stunning variety of plants and animals, including the spectacled bear. While little is known about this elusive but highly threatened species, Spectacled Bear Conservation (SBC) is using GPS collaring and camera trapping technology to create a more robust understanding of their biology, behaviors, and ecological needs.
